Montana Department of Livestock
The Montana Department of Livestock's mission is to prevent the transmission of animal diseases to humans, and to protect the livestock industry from diseases. They wanted a logo that brought together the old and the new. A new eye-catching logo representing the livestock industry in Montana. But they wanted it to have elements and a style that would make it look as though it was created in the old west in 1885 at the department's beginning.
